This is such a clever idea for a business that makes gift giving easy and personal. Each themed Vivabox is actually a 2 part gift. The box contains a gift to be enjoyed now AND a gift certificate to be redeemed and enjoyed later. I love getting gift certificates that I can use to choose a personal gift and it’s also fun to get something to use right away. With Vivabox, you get both.

Each box contains ’stuff’ that is based on a theme (Movies, Wine, Spa, Tea…) and also a gift certificate to be redeemed for an additional gift that relates to the theme. Some of the additional gifts are tangible items and some are for things to experience (massage, tickets…).

The boxes are great for any occasion and would be easy to give to someone you know very well or for someone deserving of a gift that you don’t know on a personal level (business gifts, teacher gifts, thank you gifts…).

I got the Women’s Magazine Vivabox – they also have a similar box with more manly magazines. The box contained 7 magazines:

• National Geographic
• Real Simple
• In Style
• All You
• Cooking Light
• Health
• Spa

Also included was a gift certificate code to get a free subscription to one of the magazines that was included in the box. The code was really easy to use. I redeemed it right on the Vivabox site and there weren’t any hoops to jump through (like those trial offers that want a credit card …) I chose National Geographic, since it’s something my whole family will enjoy.

They also included a post card that could be used to redeem the magazine subscription gift certificate – so the gift can also be enjoyed by someone who does not have internet access.

I have often put together get well magazine assortments as gifts for friends. Vivabox makes it easy and economical. The price of the women’s magazine box is $29.95 – the cover price of the magazines is more than that. And the recipient also gets the bonus of a regular subscription that they will continue to enjoy each month!

And if anyone feels like getting me a gift, I would also love to have Gourmet to Your Door or one of the Spa boxes!
