Giveaway – Dr. Alkaitis Organic Eye Makeup Remover – 2 Winners – Ends 1/24/10

Dr. Alkaitis
If you can’t eat it, don’t put it on your skin
About: To radiate and shine with an inner glow, your internal and external body must be in perfect health and harmony. Additionally, your skin care products do not only affect the way you look but also, the way you feel – inside and out. Your skin is the largest organ of the body, reflecting our states of vitality. Caring for it is not merely a quest towards superficial beauty, but an integral investment towards preventive health self-care.
Yes, you read that correctly – skin care products that are made from edible natural ingredients instead of synthetic chemicals! I am very impressed with this company and their holistic views on health and well-being. And it makes sense to me that caring for skin isn’t just about beauty – it’s also about health.
The products are 100% certified organic, raw, edible and completely chemical free.
I was excited when I saw that they included an Organic Mascara & Eye Makeup remover in their product line – just seems extra important to me that I would want to make sure that I keep synthetic chemicals away from my eyes and the sensitive skin surrounding my eyes.
Here’s the ingredient list for the makeup remover:
- Virgin Cold Pressed Certified Organic Almond Oil
Yes, that’s it! No long chemical names. Nothing icky that I can’t pronounce. Just a special grade of almond oil.
I compared that to the brand I had been using and it was kind of scary to see what I had been putting on my eyes. Needless to say, I am now happily using the Dr. Alkaitis remover instead!
The 2 ounce bottle will last about 3 months – it doesn’t take much to gently and completely remove my makeup. I squirt a little bit onto damp cotton pads and wipe my eyes clean. The almond oil feels great on my skin – nice to be able to condition my eye area at the same time I am removing my makeup.
