Giveaway – Lush Shower Gel Set – Ends 1/21/10

Lush makes me happy! I can’t walk by a Lush store without going in. The beautiful displays filled with pretty products that smell so wonderful just call to me! And I love that they are against animal testing – all of their products are vegetarian and 60% of them are also organic.

When I go to a Lush store, I’m drawn to the soaps and bath bombs since they are so prominently displayed and so smelly (yes, I mean smelly in a good way).

I was excited to have the opportunity to try out some of their products that were new to me – shower gels. They have a lot of different types. And, of course, they have fun names and descriptions to go along with their unique characteristics. The ones I sampled are:

• The Olive Branch – Reassuring shower gel to hold you in its arms and keep you safe – vine leaves, mandarin, sicilian olives and bergamot
• Happy Hippy – Mellow yellow hair and body gel with freshly squeezed grapefruits
• Flying Fox – The sex appeal honey shower – Lascivious, licentious, vivacious and insatiable (aren’t those beautiful words?!?!)
• Yummy Yummy Yummy – Cream wash for yummy soft skin and hair – strawberry cream made with whole fruit

They are wonderful! Each one is a unique formula, so it isn’t just a different fragrance – they have other different ingredients for unique showering experiences. And they are packaged in bottles that are made from 100% recylced plastic.

The all around favorite in our house is the Happy Hippy. The bottle says it’s ‘just the thing for centralising your aura’ and I think that’s a good thing. My guys enjoyed it’s grapefruit scent, too. And it’s great that it can be used as a body wash and a shampoo.

My guys also like the Olive Branch, but I’m going to keep them away from the Flying Fox – that one is mine!
