Wild Hibiscus Flowers in Syrup are the original creation of Lee Etherington who invented the product 11 years ago in 1997. Wild Hibiscus Flowers are unique in all the world and are now sold in 30 countries across the globe through retailers as prestigious as Harvey Nichols in London, Citarella in New York & Galerie Lafayette in Paris.

This is such a fun and unique product – I love it! I’ve tried edible flowers in salads and other dishes, but this was a totally new experience for me.

The syrup contains just 3 natural ingredients – wild hibiscus flowers, sugar and water. The 8.8 oz. jar contains approx. 11 flowers or they have a 2.5 pound party pack jar that contains 50 flowers (perfect for a wedding or other large event). The flowers are a beautiful red color and taste like berries to me.

The easiest way to serve them and impress your guests is to place a flower in a glass, add a little of the syrup and then fill the glass with champagne or another bubbly non-alcoholic drink. The flower will open up and look beautiful in the glass and it gives the beverage a nice flavor.

You can also try one of their many drink recipes or come up with something creative on your own. They’re also good for desserts, appetizers and main dishes. A flower and a drizzle of syrup would be great on ice cream or cheesecake.
