I do enjoy natural products and my interest was piqued when I heard about these products made with cayenne and swiss apple. I was happy to try out a couple of them.
ThermaSkin Wrinkle Balm – This balm is in a solid form – kind of like a travel size deodorant stick. It’s super easy to apply it right where I want it. Along with the cayenne and swiss apple, there is arnica to help out with wrinkles and lines. It works well on faces and hands. It’s convenient size makes it easy to pop in my purse and use when needed for those little dry patches I tend to get in the summer. And if you’re worried that the cayenne might burn… you can relax. There was no burning at all for me.
ThermaSkin Bug Blocker - This is my favorite of the two products. I don’t like being bitten or stung by bugs. But I also don’t like using harsh chemicals on my skin or on my kids’ skin. And, given a choice, I would much rather deter the bugs than kill them. The Bug Blocker is 100% natural (NO DEET!!!!!) and has a roll-on applicator. I like the smell of it (eucalyptus, lemon, witch hazel….) and it really does deter the bugs. You don’t have to completely coat every bit of skin – just need enough so the insects will get a good whiff of it and head in a different direction.
