Light bulb technology has come a long way!
When CFL bulbs first came out, I tried a no-name brand that my electric company was pushing. Unfortunately, I had 2 bulbs explode sending shards of glass and mercury around the room. Since then, I’ve been much more cautious about the lighting products my family uses.
Sylvania has been in business for over a century and is known for their high quality lighting products – this is a brand that I trust.

The light bulbs work great and saving energy is great on my budget and good for the earth. And saving energy doesn’t mean living with dim lights – they’re perfectly bright but use much less energy! Since these last sooo long, they won’t need to be replaced as often as other bulbs.
The Ultra LED light is the ‘most popular’ one in my house. Yes, my teenagers are now very opinionated about light bulbs. It looks great and we’re all impressed with the 25,000 hour life span – that’s a long long time!

Use more than a chandelier or just one fixture to light the room. Layer with light from a variety of sources to get the most flexibility for creating different moods in the same room.
