The premise and basic story are, of course, very familiar – this gives the novel a very comfortable feel from the very beginning. But the story line and situations have been updated to reflect present day Manhattan. I like that Lucy has ambition and goals of her own as she plays Wyatt’s game. This is definitely not the world that I live in, but the story was entertaining.
