Recycled? Sustainable? Fair Trade? Organic? Natural? They have it!

I got to try out a wonderful product from their women’s accessories department – The Rebagz Juice Pack Carry Anything Anywhere Bag.

The bags are made by enterprising women in the Philippines out of recycled juice bags. And, yes, they are Certified Fair Trade.

The Carry Anything Anywhere Bag is big! (Approx. 19.5″ x 10.5″ x 9″) The weaving is beautiful and very sturdy. It’s a great size to use as a purse, a market tote, a beach bag or whatever. It’s water resistant and I can just wipe it clean when it gets dirty. The juice bags are very strong when woven. The 24″ straps are comfortable to carry and strong enough to support a fully loaded bag.

I got one of the brightly colored bags and think it’s fun to see the different labels they used to make it. They have several colors available and they also have a plain silver bag. Organic Bug also has other recycled juice bag products – totes, bags, wallets….

The bag is beautiful and I think it’s so much better to see these juice bags put to good use instead of hanging around a landfill for years and years and years.
