Wembe has created some unique and beautiful cleansing bars. They each have unique natural ingredients to take care of specific skin needs and to evoke a mood or feeling. Many of the ‘flavors’ look almost good enough to eat, especially the chocolate cleansing blend. But, alas, they are ‘food’ for my skin and not my mouth.

I got to try the Coconut Exfoliating Blend. It contains coconut oil, cupassu butter and coconut pulp that gently exfoliates. The scent is very mild, so it leaves my skin feeling fresh but doesn’t have a lingering scent. And the coconut pulp doesn’t feel at all harsh or rough. It is gentle enough to use on my face and can also be used on hair.

Wembe’s soaps come in square-ish chunks instead of flat bars and are easy to hold onto. The colors of the soaps are naturally beautiful.

And … the coconut soap is Vegan – hooray!
