Giveaway – Triaminic Thin Strips Cough & Cold Kit – 3 Winners – Ends 2/5/10

January 27, 2010

Triaminic Thin Strips Cough & Runny Nose Grape Flavor

Children’s Triaminic Thin Strips

Fortunately, I haven’t come down with a cold or the flu yet this year. My kids have not been as lucky. And I know many who have been hit hard with illness. Since I am not a medical professional, I rely on information and advice from others when we have health issues.

Triaminic has a huge amount of information to help parents. You can track illness in your area (nice to know what’s going around and nice to know you’re not alone) and you can read sick day guidelines and find information on prevention and available over the counter products.

My guys (and I) have never been fans of liquid cough syrups. I’ve tried all kinds of tricks to make it easier. We even use ’special’ shot glasses to remind us of happy vacations when we chug our medicine. But … we still don’t like liquids. I was happy to see that Triaminic has come out with Thin Strips to make this a better experience.

They have several different types available for different needs. You’ll want to check with your healthcare provider and read about the products so that you can make an informed decision as to what is best for you and your family.

  • Cough and Runny Nose
  • Day Time Cold & Cough
  • Night Time Cold & Cough
  • Long Acting Cough
  • Cold With Stuffy Nose
  • Allergy

The Thin Strips are really easy to use. They dissolve quickly and have kid friendly flavors – grape, wild berry. And there is no measuring and no sticky liquid to clean up.

They come individually wrapped, which makes them easy to carry with you. This also means that there is no child safety cap, so you’ll want to be especially careful about keeping these away from kids. The foil packets would be easy enough for a clever 3 year old  to open to get at the fruit flavored strips.
