Who likes popcorn?
My family definitely does and Gaslamp Popcorn is a favorite in our home.
Gaslamp Popcorn is a division of Rudolph Foods. They’ve been making delicious, all-natural popcorn since 1998. The brand is named after the historic Gaslamp District in downtown San Diego, California. The area has been modernized, but it still retains the charm of a simpler time.
The popcorn is grown and popped in California. I am a label reader and like to make good choices when I shop for myself and my family. Of course, I was happy to learn that Gaslamp Popcorn is 100% natural, non-GMO and gluten-free. It’s also really fresh and tastes great!
There are three different varieties available:
- Authentic Kettle Corn – sweetened with pure cane sugar and lightly salted with sea salt
- Cinnamon Caramel – brown sugar, cinnamon and a pinch of sea salt
- White Cheddar – all natural, authentic white cheddar taste
I’m usually drawn to savory flavors and am not typically a fan of sweet popcorns. Gaslamp has changed the way I look at popcorn. Both of the sweet varieties have just the right amount of sweetness for me. I can taste it, but it’s not overpowering. It also helps that they use real cane sugar and brown sugar instead of alternatives that are extra sweet and can leave a strange aftertaste. The Gaslamp flavors are good through and through. White Cheddar is my favorite, but the Cinnamon Carmel is a close second!
