My family loves going out to eat at Souplantation. It’s so easy to find foods that each of us enjoy. The prices are reasonable and everyone ends up satisfied.

Last night I tried something new and exciting. I went to Souplantation for dinner. I’ve been there many times for lunch and have now experienced Souplantation after dark. They had the same foods I enjoy at lunch along with some extras.

Each week this month they are featuring an assortment of guest favorites. I like sampling small portions of many different foods and was really happy with this week’s specials. The featured Ranch House BLT Salad, Broccoli Cheese Soup and Chicken Pot Pie Stew were delicious. The stew tasted just like a chicken pot pie without the crust. I loved the big chunks of vegetables.

The featured dessert this week is quite amazing ~ Red Velvet Lava Cake. This is what red velvet should be! It isn’t just regular dry cake that has been colored red. It is truly velvelty. Souplantation serves their cake right out of the oven. The texture and flavor are excellent. The cream cheese lava is lovely. The staff did a great job of keeping the buffet stocked as guests finished off pan after pan of Red Velvet Lava Cake.

Next week’s featured dessert is Chocolate Lava Cake. I’m thinking I just may NEED to try it!
