I’ve purchased mini pie shells to fill, but hadn’t tried making my own. I thought I needed some kind of special pan for it, but now I know that’s not necessary. I can make my own mini pies using a muffin or cupcake pan!
This beautifully illustrated cookbook contains delicious recipes for pie crusts, fillings and toppings for sweet and savory pies. There are recipes for some of the usuals and some that are more unique. The instructions are clear and the photographs help you visualize the pretty little extras that make the pies look so cute.
